Taiwan is Asia's "sleeper" country - it has been quietly going about its business but has increasingly been attracting travellers with its spectacular scenery, its thriving folk culture and food, bustling night markets, museums that showcase some of the best of Chinese Imperial times and a friendly & welcoming population.

Our 10 day/9 night will explore this country that remains close to its ancient cultural roots, yet is super-contemporary, with the urban action sitting comfortably alongside pristine natural settings. Having escaped the Cultural Revolution and decades of social engineering on the mainland, in some ways it's 'more Chinese than China' on this beautiful island. 

What really makes visiting Taiwan such a pleasure is the friendly outlook of the 23 million people who call the island home.
